This mutant dog took us 75 pulls, well below par. We had a 0% wipe last Wednesday in sub 50 pulls, but had to wait until Monday to finish it off. Zul will be a fast follow this week! The team has been progressing faster and faster as we hit the harder bosses at the end of the raid. We're beginning to really hit our stride, and we cannot wait to tackle Mythrax and G'huun to finish off this raid! We've stuck to our strict 9-hour raid schedule. Don't be fooled by guilds that raid more and have less progress.

This boss took us a total of 25 pulls. Very efficient kill and now we're onto Fetid, the first real gear check in the instance. As some of the other guilds drop down their raid nights we continue to keep it consistent with just 3 nights (9 hours). Don't be fooled into thinking an extra night is worth it, progress the same in less time! Really proud of the team on Vectis and things are shaping up nicely as we head into the latter half of the raid.

What a fun way to start this tier. What was interesting to us about Mother was we had options for how we could have approached the fight. One way is that we could have done the strat where you trivialize the add spawn by moving all at once and sandbagging in the second room while all your healing cooldowns come available again, and the other dominate strategy being that you can trickle through both rooms. Ultimately, though, we went with a strat that had the entire team cross the first barrier blowing all major healing cds, while then quickly moving teams across to room three akin to the trickle strat. The hybrid turned out to be a lot of fun to execute once we got the hang of it, and when it was over we turned in a performance I think we can all be proud of with the second fastest execution at the time we did it.
Successive clears by this method have been consistent and really great for the team.

This bug dude took us 43 pulls. Was not an efficient kill for us, but we've been getting the rust off. Hoping to pick up speed as we head into the mid-tier! Vectis is almost dead (expecting a Monday kill). We have not added a 4th night or gone over our 9-hour schedule. Don't be fooled into raiding more when you don't have to.

We didn't have to add a 4th raid night either. It's disappointing to see guilds add raid nights, but it is Heroic after all... so who really cares. G'huun took 7 pulls tonight. We had 11 pulls back on Wednesday after the World 1st hotfix. It felt doable (with a bit of work), but then again we hadn't seen Phase 3 yet (which was most of the nerf). At any rate... Uldir has been a blast so far. The fights are deceptively simple, yet feel good to execute. We're hoping Mythic tuning feels as good as Heroic has been and we have some good progression ahead of us. All in all... we cleared Heroic in under 7 hours this week, including some shenanigans on Zul.

The expansion is over. 362 pulls for him. We took a risk with the extension, and in retrospect... may have been a little too aggressive. It made the allowance for mistakes in P4 almost nil. We had 1% pulls several nights in a row as a result. We beat the nerf though, finally! In the end we landed US 69 despite not being the most efficient with the use of our time. However, we learned alot in the process!
Personally I feel this fight was well designed. It stands in stark contrast to KJ who had a somewhat opposite progression curve (the last phase was not nearly as demanding to execute). Our team did an excellent job holding it together, even when frustrations were abound with the near-kills several nights in a row. It pushed many of us to the limit, and is absolutely one for the books.
