We downed this in 139 pulls. This fight before the nerf was a unique challenge (aside from the obvious bugs) to make a wildly inconsistent fight actually consistent. It's a shame they didn't wait until HoF closed to actually make such sweeping changes to the fight, but what can you do? We had 112 pre-nerf, so we killed it in 27 pulls after adjusting our P1 and P2 timings last night. Very proud of the strides made on this boss and looking forward to getting a big Sire post up here soon.
Team 8 has had an awesome week, netting 2 progression kills amongst all of our farm on the first night of raid. We demolished Lady Inerva in 12 pulls, totaling less than 43 minutes in progression! For our Thursday session we were able to spend the entire night on Council of Blood and made it to the 2nd gargoyle in the final phase. Big props to the team for being very prepared this week.
Downed this in 73 pulls! This was a super fun boss to iteratively improve on. We had our heartbreaking 0% wipe yesterday and came into today and just 1-shot it. Definitely the most satisfying prog fight to date in the instance. Super proud of the team for coming in way under other guilds in pull count to down it. We're into the final 2 bosses and are already well under way with Stone Legion Generals. Shoutout to @Trell who couldn't be here for the kill cause of being stuck in the hospital. Get well soon!
Team 8 has had an interesting couple of weeks, with all the holidays falling on our raid days and putting a damper on the fun of progressing. We just got Mythic Hungering Destroyer this week as well as Mythic Sun King's Salvation at 264 US. Our first hour of Mythic Artificer prog had all of us laughing pretty hard as we saw all sorts of interesting ways to fail.
