If it wasn't obvious a lot of care goes into presentation of the website. Memes and other tom-foolery are fine when contained and managed, but ridiculous animated avatars aren't part of that more serious outward image.

I think I can safely speak for the rest of the team when I say that nobody here would ever dare try to abuse the privileges granted to us to expose our tom-foolery and dank memes to the public. :^)
